Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own and integrate MEMS processes from concept through mass production for new and existing device development.
  • Translate MEMS designs into efficient, scalable, and manufacturable process flows.
  • Drive R&D on new materials, processes, and integration methods to enhance performance, cost, and reliability.
  • Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot front-end and back-end MEMS fabrication processes to improve yield and cycle time.
  • Collaborate with foundry teams to qualify and refine key process steps such as DRIE, wafer bonding, and thin-film deposition.
  • Lead failure analysis and root cause investigations, implementing corrective actions for process and yield issues.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (design, test, packaging, reliability) to ensure smooth process integration and product quality.
  • Document and manage process data, support technology roadmaps, new product introduction, and patent or research activities.


Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or related field — Electrical, Mechanical, Materials Science, or Microelectronics.
  • Experience in MEMS process, semiconductor process development, or microfabrication R&D is preferred.
  • Preferably possesses strong technical understanding of MEMS technologies and related semiconductor fabrication processes such as etching, deposition, bonding, and release.
  • Hands-on expertise with cleanroom tools, metrology, failure analysis, and data analysis (DOE, JMP, Python).
