Role Description The Safety Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Port Dickson, responsible for overseeing workplace safety at roofing and cladding project sites and facilities. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting site inspections and risk assessments, and identifying potential hazards. The role involves organizing and delivering safety training, ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment, and maintaining safety documentation and incident reports. The Safety Supervisor will investigate accidents and near-misses, recommend corrective actions, and collaborate with project managers and site teams to implement safety procedures. This position also requires ongoing communication with internal stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Safety Training to develop, deliver, and track safety programs and toolbox talks.
• Candidates should possess skills in to assess risks, implement controls, and improve safety systems on-site.
• Candidates should possess skills in Accident Investigation to analyze incidents, determine root causes, and recommend preventive measures.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Professional safety certifications (e.g., Yellow book, OSHA-related, NIOSH, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Experience in construction, roofing, or industrial site safety supervision is beneficial.
• Strong communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with site teams.
• Ability to perform on-site work, conduct inspections at height where required, and adapt to changing project conditions.
