Klinik Aurora Bukit Rimau is looking for a qualified and registered Medical Assistant to join our team, with a primary focus on Maternity & Family Care.

The successful candidate will apply their Medical Assistant training and clinical skills to support doctors in maternity and family care, patient monitoring, clinical procedures, and emergency preparedness, while also contributing to the day-to-day operational responsibilities typically performed by a Clinic Assistant (CA). This position is ideal for someone who is clinically competent, caring, responsible, and dependable, with the ability to work closely with doctors and the clinic team to deliver high-quality healthcare services.

KEY RESPONSIBLES

Clinical & Clinic Operations

- Perform patient triage, take vital signs and obtain relevant preliminary patient information.

- Assist doctors during consultations, examinations, minor procedures and emergency situations.

- Perform basic clinical procedures within the Medical Assistant’s qualifications and competency, including blood taking, specimen collection, ECG, nebulisation, wound care, dressings and injections, where required.

- Support doctors in maternity, women’s health and family care services, including preparing patients, equipment and treatment areas.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

- Diploma in Medical Assistant

- Possess a valid and current registration or Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).

- able to perform procedures safely, confidently, and competently.

- Comfortable using computers, electronic clinic systems, and digital communication platforms.

- Willing to undertake both clinical and Clinic Assistant (CA) responsibilities as part of the clinic's daily operations.

- Willing to work according to the clinic roster, including weekends and public holidays when scheduled.

SALARY & BENEFITS

RM 2,400++ ( salary negotiable according to clinical experience, competency, valid professional registration and ability to contribute to clinic operations)
