Job Description

Responsibilities

Payroll

  • Perform full spectrum of payroll processing that is in compliance with Company policies and statutory requirements.
  • Submit monthly CPF payments, tax filing for employees
  • Administer and submit NS make-up pay claims and all government paid leave claims
  • Maintain and update payroll records and data
  • Prepare manpower cost reports and statistics
  • Assist in employees’ queries on pay and benefits

Recruitment

  • Support in local and overseas recruitment exercises such as recruitment in Polytechnics, ITEs, job fairs, overseas trips etc.
  • Put up and review job advertisements, shortlist applicants, arrange applicants for interview by respective Department Managers.
  • Prepare employment contracts, letters and other relevant documentation
  • Keep track and follow-up on recruitment progress for open positions
  • Report and update the Senior Management on the recruitment progress

Compensation & Benefits

  • Provide administrative support in HCM activities such as performance appraisals, annual increment, performance bonus payment.
  • Administer staff benefits and claims in accordance with Company policies such as medical, insurance, leave, Workman Injury Compensation Claims etc.
  • Work with Head of HR to review on compensation and benefits programs including salary benchmarking and benefits policies.

Employee Relations

  • Support in employee relations matters to ensure challenges are resolved and relationships are strengthened.

Employee Engagement

  • Coordinate social and recreational activities to promote staff interaction and enhance the well-being of the employees.
  • Assist in communication sessions such as Town Hall Meetings, Conversations with ED, Tea Sessions with Chairman etc.
  • Coordinate Workplace Health programs.
  • Coordinate and administer Recognition Awards for employees
  • Coordinate for employees’ accommodation arrangement and dormitory
  • Coordinate and conduct staff orientation programs

HR Administration and Operations

  • Assist in the review and update of Company’s policies and procedures as required.
  • Maintain and update job descriptions for the whole Company.
  • Create, maintain and update employees’ record in HRIS & P-Files
  • Conduct audit check on employees’ accommodation
  • Conduct exit interviews for employees leaving the Company
  • Review and improve HR processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure accurate and timely data submission to government agencies
  • Provide guidance and support to juniors to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Undertake any other responsibilities as directed by the Supervisor/Management of the Company.
