Role Description The Finance Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Klang, responsible for supporting the company’s financial operations and compliance. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing financial reporting, and ensuring accuracy of accounting records. The role also involves monitoring cash flow, assisting with budgeting, and preparing GST-related documentation and submissions. The Finance Executive will collaborate with internal departments to verify financial data, support audits, and provide analytical insights to assist management decision-making. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to financial regulations, and the ability to work effectively within established timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, including monthly and year-end closing.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify variances, and support management reporting.
• Knowledge of financial reporting standards and experience in producing accurate, timely financial reports.
• Prepare and submit SST returns and manage SST exemption applications and documentation.
• Prepare and monitor company's annual budget and financial planning
• Ensure all accounting documentation is properly maintained, organized and readily available for reference and audit purposes.
• Lead and supervise the finance team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within deadlines.
• Work closely with management on monthly financial reviews, reporting and business-related financial matters.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel & accounting software
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of SST, budgeting & financial reporting
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in logistics or related industries is beneficial.
