Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Business Development Manager will identify and develop new business opportunities, including corporate clients and training partners, to expand AgileAsia Malaysia’s market presence. Responsibilities include managing the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation and prospect qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and closing. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their training requirements, and collaborating with internal teams to design tailored solutions. The Business Development Manager will track sales performance metrics, prepare regular reports, participate in marketing and outreach activities, and represent the company at industry events and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in business development, B2B sales, and client relationship management.
• Experience in account management, pipeline management, and opportunity evaluation.
• Ability to conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and identify growth opportunities.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Comfort with CRM tools, basic data analysis, and reporting to support sales decision-making.
• Background in training, education, or professional services, ideally related to Agile, Scrum, or technology, is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proactive, self-directed work style with the ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse team environment.
• Willingness to work on-site in WP. Kuala Lumpur and meet clients in person as needed.
