Responsibilities
About the role
As a Maintenance Executive, you will oversee day-to-day maintenance operations and facilities operations of the Club; ensuring that all building systems, equipment and facilities are maintained to a high standard of safety, functionality and aesthetic appeal.
Key responsibilities
Plan, coordinate and implement predictive and preventive maintenance program and servicing schedules on the building's M&E systems and Facility Installations including air conditioner systems, electrical systems, plumbing, fire alarm system and other related equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance and technical issues promptly to minimize disruption and ensure smooth and continuous Club operations
Liaising and sourcing vendors, contractors and service providers for quotation, equipment, repairs and servicing. Monitor contractors' work in aspects of quality, work schedule and safety and compliance; ensuring that works are carried out in accordance to the agreed scope and contract requirements
Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, including those imposed by JKKP, BOMBA, Local Authorities and other relevant agencies
Monitor maintenance projects and service work to identify risks, delays, technical issues and cost variances, and escalate matters to the management with recommendations for corrective action and mitigation
Conduct regular inspections of the Club's facilities and identify maintenance needs, defects and potential safety hazards, taking appropriate action to address them before they affect operations
Assist in preparing maintenance budgets, expenditure forecasts and cost estimates, and monitor maintenance-related expenses to ensure effective cost control
Respond to emergency breakdowns and urgent maintenance matters, coordinating the necessary resources and contractors to restore services as quickly as possible
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Building Management or any relevant course is preferred
Relevant competency certificates such as Wireman or Chargeman certification would be an added advantage
Minimum 5 years' experience in building maintenance or facilities management
Proven supervisory or leadership experience, with the ability to manage maintenance teams
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
Problem-solving mindset and ability to make sound decisions under pressure
