Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine electro-mechanical technical functions and activities including design, testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronics and electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype models, specialized test equipment, tools, and test fixtures.
Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level issues in electrical and mechanical systems and sub-systems.
Support new system installations, NPI installations, and field upgrades where required.
Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal instructions, layouts, and plans to perform routine testing and troubleshooting activities.
Compile logbooks and test procedure documentation utilizing strong technical writing skills.
Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on AMAT platforms in accordance with Engineering and Manufacturing documentation and specifications.
Observe all safety standards and maintain a secure, safe, clean, and healthy work environment.
Attend required health and safety training and comply with safety and security policies, procedures, and practices.
Promptly report accidents, injuries, safety hazards, and emergencies to Supervisors or the Safety Department.
Follow operating instructions, utilize appropriate protective equipment, and ensure proper handling of equipment and materials.
Actively contribute to accident and injury prevention initiatives.
Develop familiarity with current manufacturing and engineering processes.
Perform rework activities resulting from testing outcomes where required.
Generate and manage Quality Notifications in support of quality assurance processes.
Qualifications
NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in the
Semiconductor industry
.
Hands-on experience in
cleanroom environments
, equipment assembly, testing, troubleshooting, or manufacturing operations.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
