Job Summary

We seek a proactive Manager to lead client relationship management, coordinate internal operations, and support business development for the Timor-Leste market, ensuring effective communication and service delivery aligned with local business environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and sustain client, partner, and stakeholder relationships in Timor-Leste to enhance business engagement and satisfaction
• Oversee daily operations ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of client matters and ongoing cases
• Coordinate cross-departmental efforts to deliver seamless services to Timor-Leste clients
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to support growth initiatives
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and discussions to clarify requirements and propose solutions
• Analyze client needs and collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions
• Monitor project progress, applications, and service delivery to meet deadlines and quality standards
• Professionally handle escalations and resolve client or operational issues to maintain service integrity
• Build and maintain strong local business networks and contacts within Timor-Leste
• Track market trends, client demands, and emerging business opportunities in Timor-Leste
• Prepare detailed reports, updates, and strategic recommendations for management review
• Lead and coordinate team members servicing the Timor-Leste market to ensure aligned objectives
• Maintain accurate documentation, communication, and follow-up on all assigned matters
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support business objectives

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, International Business, or related field
• Fluency in Tetum and Portuguese to facilitate effective communication with local clients and partners
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English for clear internal and external interactions
• Demonstrated understanding of Timor-Leste’s business environment, culture, and client expectations
• Proven interpersonal and relationship-management skills to engage diverse stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong organizational and coordination skills
• Proactive, independent ownership of responsibilities with effective client enquiry and escalation handling
• Willingness to travel to Timor-Leste as required to support business activities

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Established business network or client contacts in Timor-Leste to leverage market presence
• Experience in client servicing, business development, operations, or management roles
• Background in managing or coordinating cross-functional teams to drive collaborative outcomes
• Experience working with international clients or overseas markets to enhance global business perspectives
