Scope of the role:

The role sits within Omnicom Media’s Addressable Investment team, which is responsible for the planning, activation and optimisation of performance-driven media campaigns across Search, Social and other addressable channels.

As Planner, Addressable Investment, you will support the planning, set-up, management and optimisation of digital campaigns. You will work closely with internal teams, clients and media platform partners to ensure campaigns deliver against agreed business objectives efficiently and at scale.

The role requires strong numerical and analytical capability, confidence working with digital platforms and data, and the ability to turn campaign results into clear, actionable recommendations. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm for digital media and a desire to continuously build their knowledge of platforms, technology and emerging industry developments.

The role requires you to:

  • Plan, set up and manage digital advertising campaigns, primarily across Paid Search, TikTok and Meta Ads Manager.
  • Monitor and optimise channels and campaigns to achieve business objectives with efficiency and scale.
  • Assist in preparing the rationale for performance marketing recommendations and annual plan presentations.
  • Track budgets and media spend accurately to ensure campaigns are delivered efficiently and within approved investment levels.
  • Perform data analysis and provide relevant insights and recommendations based on campaign performance and consumer behaviour.
  • Develop and update client performance reports by analysing and formatting data, gathering costs, and providing clear insights and commentary.
  • Use Microsoft Excel to manipulate data and create client-facing reports across Search, Display, YouTube and Social.
  • Own budget planning, tracking and media finance requirements for assigned campaigns.
  • Communicate campaign performance and recommendations clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, clients and media partners to support effective campaign delivery and continuous improvement.

Required Skills or Attributes:

  • 1–3 years of digital planning experience, ideally on performance-focused accounts.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Social campaign set-up and optimisation.
  • Experience planning, setting up and managing campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, TikTok Ads Manager and Meta Ads Manager.
  • Working knowledge of performance channels including Search, Display, YouTube and Social.
  • Strong numerical capability and confidence working with data, budgets and technology platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, charts and formulas.
  • Ability to analyse campaign data and translate findings into clear, practical recommendations.
  • Experience developing client-facing performance reports, including insights and commentary.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for digital media, consumer behaviour, platform developments and emerging technologies.
