About the Role
We are looking for an intermediate-level Technical Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team in Singapore. This role suits a recruitment professional with a solid foundation in both in-house talent acquisition and agency/RPO recruitment, who is confident sourcing and closing IT/technical talent across software development, infrastructure, QA, and data disciplines. The role also carries regional exposure, supporting technical recruitment activities across ASEAN markets alongside senior team members. You will manage a portfolio of technical requisitions end-to-end, working closely with engineering hiring managers and a Talent Acquisition Lead, and will have the opportunity to develop into a more senior regional technical recruitment position over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for a portfolio of IT/technical requisitions, from intake briefing with engineering hiring managers through offer and onboarding handover.
- Source, screen, and manage candidate pipelines for technical roles across software development, infrastructure/DevOps, QA, data, and other engineering disciplines.
- Support scaled hiring campaigns for engineering teams (e.g., when standing up a new product team or function), meeting agreed speed-to-fill and quality targets.
- Support recruitment activities across ASEAN markets as needed, coordinating with regional hiring managers and more senior recruiters on cross-border requisitions.
- Source candidates through multiple channels — job portals (including MyCareersFuture where applicable), LinkedIn, GitHub/technical community platforms, employee referrals, agency partners, and tech meetups/events.
- Coordinate with external recruitment agencies and vendors where required, tracking submissions and turnaround against agreed service levels.
- Conduct structured, competency-based interviews and screening focused solely on the skills, qualifications, and experience relevant to the role.
- Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements and hiring timelines, and provide market insights on talent availability.
- Support the offer process, including preparing recommendations within approved budget and internal equity guidelines.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and track recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline conversion, source effectiveness).
- Ensure every candidate has a fair, respectful, and positive experience throughout the hiring process, from first contact to onboarding.
- Assist with employer branding activities and recruitment events as needed.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 4 years of recruitment experience, with exposure to both in-house (corporate/internal TA) and agency/RPO recruitment, including meaningful time spent recruiting specifically for IT/technical roles.
- Solid experience recruiting for IT/technical roles (e.g., software engineers, DevOps/infrastructure engineers, QA engineers, data engineers/analysts).
- Working understanding of common technical role requirements and terminology, sufficient to screen candidates and engage credibly with engineering hiring managers.
- Experience supporting or coordinating scaled technical hiring drives with multiple concurrent requisitions.
- Working knowledge of sourcing channels such as job portals, LinkedIn Recruiter, and employee referral programmes.
- Familiarity with using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and basic recruitment reporting.
- Good understanding of Singapore employment practices, including fair hiring principles under the Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices (TGFEP).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A recognised qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred; candidates with equivalent relevant experience are equally welcome to apply.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Prior exposure to cross-border or regional technical recruitment coordination within ASEAN.
- Familiarity with recruiting for niche or emerging technical skill sets (e.g., cloud, data engineering, cybersecurity, AI/ML).
- Working knowledge of Singapore's Fair Consideration Framework (FCF) and MyCareersFuture job posting requirements.
