Responsibilities
Business Development Manager (BDM)
drives revenue growth by securing new commercial, industrial, or residential cleaning contracts and building long-term client relationships
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation:
Find and target new business clients such as offices, schools, hospitals, and retail spaces.
Sales Pitch & Negotiation:
Meet facility managers or business owners to present cleaning packages, quote pricing, and close deals.
Market Research:
Study local competitors, industry pricing trends, and new regulatory sanitation standards.
Account Management:
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage contract renewals and upsell deep-cleaning or specialized services.
Proposal Development:
Build customized cleaning proposals and service level agreements (SLAs) tailored to specific facility needs.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience:
2 to 5 years of B2B field sales or business development experience, ideally within facilities management or commercial services.
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and negotiation skills to deal with senior decision-makers.
Commercial Acumen:
Strong understanding of profit margins, labor costs, and service pricing models for cleaning contracts.
Network:
Ability to leverage local connections in real estate, corporate offices, or property management
