Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client is a leading Singapore-based digital infrastructure and connectivity provider serving enterprises, carriers, cloud providers, hyperscalers and data centers.

We are looking for a Sales Lead to drive Wholesale & Key Accounts, lead strategic sales initiatives, grow key customer relationships and deliver revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Business Growth

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for the Wholesale and Key Accounts segments.
  • Identify target customers, priority sectors, value propositions, routes to market and strategic growth opportunities.
  • Drive new customer acquisition and account expansion
  • Develop both direct sales and partner/channel-led opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain strategic account plans, including relationship mapping, opportunity strategies, retention plans and multi-year growth objectives.

Sales Leadership & Performance

  • Lead, coach and develop Account Managers and sales professionals.
  • Set sales priorities, review key opportunities and establish a strong consultative selling and account management culture.
  • Own segment revenue, bookings, contract value, pipeline and sales forecasts.
  • Maintain accurate and credible forecasts based on sales stages, deal progress and expected delivery timelines.
  • Ensure disciplined CRM and pipeline management.
  • Maintain a balanced pipeline covering both short-term revenue opportunities and longer-term strategic pursuits.
  • Prepare regular sales performance reports and business reviews for senior management.

Strategic Account & Commercial Management

  • Build strong C-level and senior executive relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
  • Support sales teams in complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities and strategic pursuits.
  • Lead major proposals, commercial negotiations, pricing discussions and contract structuring.
  • Ensure commercial decisions balance revenue growth, customer value and business risk.
  • Drive proactive renewal and retention strategies for major accounts.
  • Work closely with internal teams to resolve customer issues and protect long-term customer relationships.

Solution & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with Product, Solution Architecture, Network Engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal and Marketing teams to develop competitive customer solutions.
  • Translate customer requirements into commercially viable and deliverable solutions.
  • Provide market, customer and competitor insights to support product development, pricing and go-to-market strategies.

Partnerships & Market Development

  • Develop strategic relationships with technology vendors, system integrators, channel partners and industry organizations.
  • Identify opportunities for joint go-to-market initiatives and partner-led business development.
  • Represent the organization at senior customer meetings, industry events and relevant regional engagements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experienced in B2B enterprise or wholesale sales within telecommunications, digital infrastructure, ICT, cloud, data center or related industries.
  • Proven experience leading sales teams, Account Managers or strategic account functions.
  • Strong track record of achieving revenue targets and securing complex infrastructure or technology deals.
  • Established network and relationships within the telecommunications, cloud, data centre, hyperscaler or enterprise ecosystem.
  • Good understanding of wholesale and enterprise buying models and complex B2B sales cycles.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate pricing, contracts and commercial terms.
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical infrastructure solutions in terms of customer and business value.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage commercial, technical, procurement and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, forecasting and business planning capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to present commercial performance and strategic insights to senior management.
  • Willingness to travel regionally or internationally when required.
