Job Purpose:
To ensure the growth of EPP by developing new applications for EPP products among OEMs within the assigned area. Aspects include direct OEM relationship in targeted markets focusing on EPP proprietary products. Work directly with Market Segment Managers and others including sales, technical, operational and marketing personnel. Must be an effective OEM account manager. This role is about translating customers’ needs into practical solutions that drive business growth.

Significant Non-Departmental Internal and External Relationships:
Internal: Supply chain dept, shipping dept, warehouse dept, foreign manufacturing sites, development team
External: Third party lab test centre, ISO cert body and consultant company, distributors, OEM, end users, traders, machine shops
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure business growth by developing and closing new applications at OEMs, primarily within the priorities set by market and product line leaders.
- Coordinates with all appropriate resources to ensure business is closed and maintained.
- Defines and develops plans to build value-added relationships with key OEM accounts representing long term growth potential.
- Develops relationships with key technical channel partners in the territory to identify and develop new market and application opportunities, extend capability to implement projects and bring value to the channel relationship.
- Provides feedback to the business on new products and market opportunities, competitive and market activity and demand anticipated for new business development.
- Monitor competitive landscape, emerging processing technologies and industrial trends for future new product development.
- Conduct technical seminars and presentations to educate OEMs, technical distributors and other relevant channel partners to facilitate growth.
- Maintain, update and report a structured pipeline of new opportunities.
Education/ Certification
- Degree in Engineering disciplines, preferably mechanical/ electronics/ materials science
Experience / Skill
- 3 years’ work experience engaged in technical positions including engineer or technical sales positions.
- Job history engaged in semiconductor / electronics / aerospace / medical industries is preferable.
- Strong customer-facing skill and business acumen.
- Japanese language communication ability is preferable for communication with key stakeholders, but not a must.
