Join an established global Healthcare Communications organisation delivering high-quality Medical Communications services to leading pharmaceutical companies worldwide. With ambitious growth plans across Asia-Pacific, they are looking to appoint a Regional Business Development Manager to drive commercial growth across Southeast Asia.

Role Overview:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven individual to lead business development activities across Southeast Asia. With excellent support you'll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and driving revenue growth with pharmaceutical clients across the region. This is a true individual contributor role, ideal for someone who enjoys owning the full sales cycle and developing new business. You'll have the autonomy to own and develop the Southeast Asia territory, identifying new opportunities and building long-term strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive new business growth across the Southeast Asia pharmaceutical market
• Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical clients and key stakeholders
• Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to contract negotiation and close
• Represent the business at industry meetings, conferences and client presentations across the region
• Work collaboratively with internal scientific and delivery teams to develop tailored client solutions
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities to support business growth

Requirements:

• 2 - 7 years of experience in business development within healthcare / healthcare communications
• Proven track record of winning new business and developing strategic client relationships
• Experience selling medical communications, medical writing or other healthcare services into pharmaceutical companies
• Candidates from CRO or medical affairs services backgrounds are also encouraged to apply
• Experience selling services rather than products
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a regional territory
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout Southeast Asia
