Position Overview
The Commercial and Customer Account Executive manages day-to-day commercial activities for assigned customers and programs. The role covers customer communication, quotations, contract review, customer purchase orders, commercial changes and coordination with internal departments.
Responsibilities:
- Support achievement of annual sales, revenue, order intake and business development targets.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers, suppliers, partners and relevant external stakeholders.
- Support RFQ, RFI, quotation, tender and proposal activities according to assigned responsibilities.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Production, Planning, Supply Chain, Finance and other departments to meet customer and commercial requirements.
- Ensure commercial activities comply with customer requirements, contractual requirements, SMEA procedures and applicable aerospace requirements.
- Protect SMEA's commercial interests, including pricing, margins, payment terms, intellectual property, confidentiality and contractual obligations.
- Maintain accurate commercial records, correspondence, quotations, purchase orders, contracts and supporting documentation.
- Monitor customer requirements, delivery commitments, commercial issues, risks and changes that may affect SMEA.
- Escalate significant commercial, contractual, delivery, quality, financial or customer issues to management.
- Support departmental KPI monitoring, reporting, audits, management reviews and continuous improvement activities.
- Support customer visits, meetings, exhibitions, presentations, market intelligence and company promotional activities when required.
- Provide backup support for team members during leave, absence, workload peaks or urgent customer requirements.
- Perform other Commercial and Business Development duties assigned by the Head of Department or Management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, Aerospace or a related discipline, appropriate to the position.
- Relevant experience in commercial, business development, customer account management, contract, sales administration or aerospace manufacturing appropriate to the role.
- Good understanding of aerospace manufacturing and customer requirements relevant to assigned responsibilities.
- Good communication, coordination, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet customer and internal deadlines.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
