Job Description

Responsibilities

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead OGOG's business operations and support the sustainable growth of SUPERSTAPLE PTE. LTD.

This role is responsible for translating business strategy into effective execution, improving operating performance, and developing the people, processes and systems needed to support a growing food and beverage business.

Key Responsibilities

Business Operations & Performance

  • Lead day-to-day restaurant and business operations, maintaining consistent food quality, service standards and customer experience.
  • Develop and implement operating plans, budgets and performance targets in coordination with company leadership.
  • Review revenue, costs and profitability, and drive improvements in productivity, cost control and resource use.

People & Organisation

  • Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, training and performance management in collaboration with the relevant managers.
  • Build accountable teams and coordinate across operations, kitchen, service and business support functions.

Processes, Procurement & Compliance

  • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures, internal controls and management reporting.
  • Oversee procurement, supplier coordination and inventory management to support reliable, cost-effective operations.
  • Oversee compliance with applicable food safety, workplace safety and employment requirements.
  • Improve operating workflows and business systems to support consistent execution and scalable growth.

Growth & Business Planning

  • Coordinate operational readiness for new outlets, marketing activities and other business initiatives.
  • Support company leadership in business planning, resource allocation and evaluation of growth opportunities.
  • Report business performance, operational risks and recommended actions to company leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related discipline, or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in operations or business management, including responsibility for leading teams and delivering business results.
  • Experience in food and beverage, hospitality, retail or a comparable service business.
  • Sound understanding of budgeting, cost control, procurement and performance reporting.
  • Ability to develop operating procedures, improve workflows and coordinate across business functions.
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A practical approach to implementation and the ability to manage priorities in a growing business.
