Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Health, Safety and Environment Trainer role based in Malaysia. The trainer is responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating HSE training sessions, workshops, and briefings for clients and internal stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include developing training materials, updating content to reflect current legislation and best practices, and conducting assessments to measure learning outcomes. The role involves engaging participants through clear communication, practical demonstrations, and case studies, as well as providing guidance on health promotion, occupational health, and safe work practices. The trainer will also support client consultations, contribute to training reports, and collaborate with the wider team to enhance program quality and consistency.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to conduct training sessions, interact with participants, and address client needs effectively.
• Applied knowledge of Occupational Health and Health Promotion to design and deliver relevant HSE training content.
• Understanding of Medicine principles related to workplace health and safety to support accurate and compliant training materials.
• Experience in HSE training, safety consultancy, or a related field, preferably within industrial, construction, or corporate environments.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or related disciplines (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are highly beneficial.
• Ability to develop training curricula, use modern training tools, and adapt content for different audiences.
• Proficiency in English; additional local language skills are an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively on-site with clients and colleagues.
