Job Summary
Perform commercial diving operations including underwater inspection, hull cleaning, and equipment maintenance safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Perform underwater diving operations including inspection, CCTV survey, hull cleaning, propeller polishing, and blanking on vessels and barges
Operate brushkart and polisher equipment effectively during diving tasks
Maintain and repair diving equipment to ensure operational readiness before each job
Verify all equipment and spares are functional and sufficient prior to deployment
Follow company diving safety protocols and procedures while adhering to assigned rosters and quality standards
Communicate clearly and follow instructions from lead divers and supervisors
Complete additional assignments as required to support team and operations
Required competencies and certifications
Possess recognized in-shore/offshore commercial diving CSCUBA/SSDE certificates
Certified according to Commercial Diving Competency Standards under SS511
Hold valid diving medical certification and diving/occupational first aid certification
Minimum 2 years of commercial diving experience (certified divers without experience may be considered for Apprentice Diver role)
Proficient in written and spoken English
Strong teamwork skills and availability to work odd hours, weekends, and public holidays for vessel movements
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Experience and knowledge of Brushkart system and/or ROV system
