• Drive and oversee comprehensive customer due diligence and compliance processes to safeguard the institution against financial crime risks.
• Manage and oversee customer onboarding, periodic reviews, and event-driven assessments for corporate and banking clients.
• Evaluate client profiles to ensure precise risk ratings in alignment with internal governance standards.
• Maintain and update compliance documentation, checklists, and operational framework materials.
• Partner with internal business units to resolve documentation gaps and streamline verification procedures.
• Monitor international regulatory developments to update procedures and support statutory audit inspections.

skills and experience required

• >5 years of experience in customer due diligence, client onboarding or anti-money laundering roles
• Proven experience working as an individual contributor with the capability to guide junior team members
• In-depth understanding of local regulatory notices, including anti-money laundering and counter-financing of terrorism frameworks
• Strong analytical capabilities with exceptional attention to detail while working under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
