Responsibilities

Human Capital & Operations Manager

PORTMAN Education Group is seeking an organised and hands-on Human Capital & Operations Manager to oversee human capital matters and ensure smooth daily operations across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Human Capital

  • Manage recruitment, interviews, hiring, onboarding and offboarding.
  • Prepare employment contracts, confirmation, renewal, transfer and disciplinary letters.
  • Oversee attendance, leave, payroll preparation and statutory contributions.
  • Monitor probation periods, contract expiry dates and employee performance.
  • Handle employee relations, grievances and disciplinary matters professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs and staff engagement initiatives.

Operations

  • Oversee daily administrative and operational matters across departments and campuses.
  • Ensure company SOPs, policies and management instructions are properly implemented.
  • Monitor office and campus cleanliness, maintenance, safety and facilities.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors and service providers.
  • Manage company assets, supplies and operational documentation.
  • Identify operational issues and implement practical solutions.
  • Prepare regular HR and operational reports for management.
  • Support management in special projects and organisational improvements.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in HR, administration or operations.
  • Experience in the education industry is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and statutory requirements.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR management systems.
  • Willing to travel between campuses when required.
  • Hands-on, accountable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
