About the role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Manager to join KENJO BABY HOUSE SDN. BHD. in Alor Setar, Kedah. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse facilities. As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse activities, managing inventory, coordinating logistics operations, and leading a team to maintain optimal productivity and safety standards. This position is integral to our supply chain operations and directly impacts our ability to deliver products to our customers on time and in perfect condition.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping of products

• Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management systems

• Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and company policies

• Coordinate with logistics providers and other departments to ensure timely delivery of shipments

• Implement and maintain warehouse organisation systems to maximise space utilisation and efficiency

• Conduct regular quality checks on products and packaging to ensure standards are met

• Monitor and report on warehouse key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics

• Identify areas for operational improvement and implement cost-saving measures

• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations

• Manage warehouse budget, equipment maintenance and resource allocation

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar senior warehouse operations role, preferably 5+ years

• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software

• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and manage a team effectively

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with strong attention to detail

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Physical capability to perform warehouse duties and walk throughout the facility regularly

• Preferred experience in the retail, baby products or consumer goods industry
