Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, responsible and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to assist customers with dance shoes and dancewear while supporting the daily operations of the store. The role includes customer service, product fitting, sales transactions, stock handling, visual merchandising, and maintaining accurate store records using Microsoft Excel.

Working Schedule

4 Days Per Week

• 3 Weekdays: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 1 Weekend Day: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Provide excellent and attentive customer service
• Assist and advise customers on dancewear and dance-related products
• Professionally fit customers for dance shoes and dancewear
• Handle and manage daily retail sales
• Operate the POS system efficiently and maintain a high level of accuracy
• Use Microsoft Excel to maintain and update sales, stock and other store records
• Assist with stock-taking and inventory records
• Ensure visual merchandising and product displays are maintained to a high standard at all times
• Replenish and organise merchandise on the sales floor
• Maintain the cleanliness and overall presentation of the retail store
• Carry out other day-to-day retail duties as required

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of sales or customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Comfortable working with POS systems and handling retail transactions
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Service-oriented, responsible and detail-oriented
• Able to work independently and take ownership of daily store operations
• Interest or experience in dance, ballet or dancewear would be an advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract

Pay: $1,600.00 - $1,800.00 per month
