Responsibilities
About the Role
Join PSA’s Emergency Response team as an Emergency Response Specialist, protecting lives, port assets, and operations in one of the world’s busiest ports.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to emergencies, including fires, HAZMAT incidents, rescue operations, and medical emergencies.
Execute emergency response operations across port facilities.
Coordinate with government agencies and internal stakeholders during incidents.
Apply firefighting, rescue, and mitigation techniques in high-pressure situations.
Support recovery, preparedness drills, training, audits, and equipment readiness.
Contribute to capability development and continuous safety improvements.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience in firefighting, rescue, emergency response, or uniformed services is an advantage.
Knowledge of HAZMAT, technical rescue, or marine emergency operations preferred.
Physically fit and able to perform demanding operational duties.
Strong situational awareness, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Willing to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Minimum GCE 'N' Level / NITEC in any discipline.
Served as a firefighter with SCDF during National Service.
