Your future job

As an Equipment Specialist at Melexis, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal

performance, reliability, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.

More specifically, you will:

Carry out curative and preventive maintenance of complex machines in the production

environment.

Manage the calibration process, including planning, execution, follow-up, and

documentation of results.

Update and apply work instructions/checklists for calibration and full maintenance

activities

Release and install duplicated equipment to the production floor..

Support production in troubleshooting complex equipment issues.

Provides technical support as part of a Process optimization and Performance

optimization projects - Level 1 and Level 2 project - (execution of validation plans,

analysis, validation reports, implementation etc).

Translate technical knowledge into clear documentation for continuous improvement.

Deliver training and coaching to Lean Production team members and certain P&EE team

positions to cascade technical know-how.

Your profile

Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Electro-Mechanics, Electronics or relevant

field)—diploma requires advanced working experience.

Minimum 3 years of related experience, preferably in the semiconductor equipment field.

Knowledge of machine equipment (mechanical and electronic parts), machine repair, and

curative maintenance in the manufacturing environment.

A team player with a result-driven mindset.

Strong reporting and problem-solving skills.

Basic knowledge of inventory management techniques.

Good computer literacy.

Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

Willingness to travel to other sites.
