Perform corrective/preventive maintenance of CCTV Surveillance System and other Security Systems
Work with contractor to executive ad-hoc work orders
Assist Senior Service Engineer to plan the Preventive Maintenance Schedule
Troubleshooting CCTV Surveillance System
Candidate must possess at least ITE/Diploma/Degree in IT System or Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent with relevant experience
Candidates without prior experience are welcomed to apply
Basic knowledge on Window servers and Milestone VMS system troubleshooting
Basic knowledge on Local Area Networking switch configuration and VLANs
Key Responsibilities(For Technician with LPR experience):
Typical daily responsibilities for an LPR parking technician may include:
Installation and Configuration: Setting up LPR cameras, servers, and networking infrastructure in new or retrofitted parking facilities.
System Maintenance: Performing routine checks and preventive maintenance on LPR equipment (cameras, barriers, payment machines) to ensure reliable operation in various weather and lighting conditions.
Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and resolving hardware (e.g., camera focus issues, network connectivity) and software problems (e.g., database errors, recognition accuracy issues).
Data Management: Working with the system's database to verify vehicle data, manage permit holder lists, and assist with preparing reports for management or law enforcement.
Integration Support: Ensuring seamless integration with other systems, such as payment gateways, access control barriers, and existing security platforms.
Training and Support: Providing training and technical support to parking facility staff on how to use and manage the LPR system effectively.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
To excel in an LPR parking technician role, strong technical and analytical skills are essential:
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IP camera systems, networking (TCP/IP), and computer hardware/software.
Software Proficiency: Experience with LPR software and related database management systems is often required.
Problem-Solving: Strong ability to diagnose and fix technical issues efficiently to minimize system downtime.
Attention to Detail: Crucial for ensuring accurate plate identification and data logging.
Communication: Clear communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and providing customer support.
