Legal Recruitment Consultant — Legal Search Group (Remote, based anywhere in Malaysia)

Legal Search Group is expanding, and we're looking for an experienced 360 recruiter to join our team, working remotely from anywhere in Malaysia.

We hold Australia's largest private practice legal database — 80,000+ lawyers, from graduate through to partner level, across every major market in the country. Most of our business runs on reverse marketing: we market the strong candidates already interested in a move to the firms who want them, rather than waiting on job orders. That database is the engine — you need to be the person who knows how to work it.

Legal Search Group is a boutique, retained legal recruitment firm working with private practice law firms across Australia. We've built our own CRM and ATS in-house — a world-class system purpose-built for how we recruit, giving you the tools to run a real desk from day one.

About the Role

The opportunity

This is a full 360 role — business development, candidate management, reverse marketing, and placements across private practice legal mandates. You'll work Australian hours remotely from Malaysia, which means an early start, but you'll have direct access to our database and systems from the first day.

Responsibilities

• Business development across private practice legal mandates.
• Candidate management.
• Reverse marketing of strong candidates to client firms.
• Managing placements across private practice legal roles.
• Working Australian business hours remotely from Malaysia.
• Running a full 360 recruitment desk using our in-house CRM and ATS.

Qualifications

• Proven 360 recruitment experience — essential.

Required Skills

• Proven 360 recruitment experience — essential.
• Motivated, hungry, driven by a genuine desire to earn — this is a commission-driven role.
• Not afraid to pick up the phone — this is a phone-first business.
• Comfortable with reverse marketing — proactively marketing strong candidates to clients, not just filling job orders.
• Based anywhere in Malaysia, able to start early to align with Australian business hours.
• Self-motivated and able to work autonomously in a remote role.

Preferred Skills

• Legal or professional services recruitment experience — not essential, but highly regarded.
