Full Time Creative Writer (Freelance) Jobs, in Lumi Films - Maukerja

Lumi Films is a Singapore-based video production company creating corporate, branded and campaign content for clients across different industries.

We’re looking for a freelance creative writer to support us on selected pitches and video projects. The role is mainly focused on turning client briefs into strong, practical creative concepts, treatments and scripts.

What you’ll be working on

• Develop creative concepts and story directions based on client briefs
• Turn ideas into clear treatments, storylines and pitch-ready write-ups
• Write scripts for corporate, branded, interview-led and campaign videos
• Research clients, subject matter and target audiences where required
• Work with our producer/director to ensure ideas are achievable within the project scope and budget
• Refine concepts and scripts based on internal and client feedback

What we’re looking for

• Strong conceptual thinking and scriptwriting skills
• Experience writing for video, advertising, branded content or corporate communications
• Able to take a broad or technical brief and turn it into an engaging story
• Good understanding of visual storytelling, not just copywriting
• Comfortable working independently and meeting project deadlines
• Portfolio or past work demonstrating concept development and scriptwriting

This is a freelance, project-based role, with work assigned as suitable projects and pitches come in.
