Responsibilities
Statutory Compliance and Reporting: This is the core responsibility, involving submitting all necessary statutory documents to the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA), such as annual returns and company information changes. It also includes drafting and submitting board and shareholder resolutions, meeting minutes, and other documents.
Maintaining Statutory Records and Registers: Maintaining and preserving the company's statutory registers and records, such as the register of shareholders, directors, and secretary, as well as the register of company charges.
Preparing Board and Shareholder Meetings: Organizing and coordinating board meetings and annual general meetings (AGMs), handling the entire process from agenda preparation and document distribution to meeting minutes writing.
Providing Strategic and Legal Coordination: Serving as a core advisor to the board and the company on compliance and governance, and a key liaison between the company and stakeholders such as shareholders, directors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
Overseeing Corporate Governance: Ensuring the company's actions comply with the Companies Act and other regulations, reviewing and updating corporate governance policies.
Other Professional Support: Some positions may involve immigration and work permit applications, KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures, and anti-money laundering audits.
Pay: $4,000.00 - $9,000.00 per month
