Budgeting & Cost Control: Manage P&L responsibilities for transport operations, monitoring fuel consumption, maintenance overheads, driver overtime, and vendor contract terms.

Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Enforce national transport safety standards, driver hours of service regulations, vehicle inspection mandates, and hazardous materials handling guidelines.

Fleet Maintenance Management: Supervise scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repair programs to minimize fleet downtime and safeguard asset value.

Team Leadership & Workforce Management: Direct hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and labor relations for fleet managers, dispatchers, and commercial drivers.

Vendor & Contractor Relations: Negotiate fuel contracts, third-party logistics (3PL) service-level agreements, vehicle leasing terms, and maintenance vendor contracts.
