Job Description
We are seeking a results-driven Senior Project Engineer to join our Infrastructure Division at Keppel Ltd. In this role, you will oversee end-to-end engineering execution, project schedule integration, site safety governance, and subcontractor management for large-scale sustainable infrastructure projects, including green data centers, district cooling systems, and clean energy assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Execution & Technical Management: Direct daily project execution activities, ensuring engineering designs, procurement schedules, and installation works comply with baseline specifications and approved drawings.
- Contractor & Vendor Coordination: Manage main contractors, specialized MEP sub-contractors, equipment suppliers, and engineering consultants to maintain project progress and solve technical on-site issues.
- Budget, Cost & Schedule Control: Monitor project cost controls, review variation orders (VOs), track project milestones using Primavera P6 / MS Project, and prepare monthly progress claims.
- Quality & Safety Compliance: Oversee site safety standards, statutory compliance, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) inspections in strict alignment with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and Building and Construction Authority (BCA) guidelines.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and progress updates for internal project management offices (PMO), client representatives, and municipal regulatory authorities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering from a recognized university.
- Experience: 3+ years of progressive project engineering experience, ideally within data center construction, power distribution, district cooling, or complex process plants.
- Technical Mastery: High proficiency in CAD/BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit), project planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project), and standard engineering contracts (SIA, REDAS, or PSSCOC).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Singapore’s building codes, SS 555 electrical safety standards, and BCA Green Mark certification criteria.
- Leadership & Communication: Strong site coordination capabilities, structured problem-solving skills, and effective technical presentation skills.
Pay: $5,500.00 - $8,500.00 per month
