Job Summary
You will lead the Electrical & Instrumentation team to plan, oversee, and execute construction, testing, and commissioning activities, ensuring projects meet safety, efficiency, and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
Plan and manage E&I construction, testing, and commissioning activities to meet project milestones and quality standards
Lead and supervise E&I engineers, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure safe and efficient project execution
Monitor project schedules and budgets, taking corrective actions to achieve targets
Prepare and review technical documents, methodologies, and project plans for accuracy and compliance
Ensure adherence to engineering standards, regulations, and client specifications throughout project phases
Conduct site inspections, quality audits, and commissioning activities to verify compliance and performance
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and vendors to resolve technical issues and facilitate smooth project delivery
Investigate E&I equipment failures, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Develop and implement Risk Assessments and Safe Work Procedures to maintain a strong safety culture
Promote and enforce HSE compliance across all project activities
Provide immediate technical support during plant emergencies to resolve issues promptly
Develop and enhance E&I operating procedures and maintenance practices to improve reliability
Mentor and assess E&I engineers, identifying training needs to build team capability
Participate actively in project meetings, technical reviews, and audits to support project governance
Perform other assigned duties to support project and organizational objectives
Required competencies and certifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Systems Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience, OR Diploma in Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience
Proven experience in E&I construction, commissioning, and maintenance within industrial environments
Working knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA, and industrial control systems
Strong leadership and team management skills
Commitment to safety and quality standards
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Experience in power generation, waste-to-energy, or process plant facilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering documentation systems
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and effective communication skills
Self-motivated and resourceful with willingness to work extended hours as required
