Job Description

Responsibilities

At RHB, our ambition is Progressive Excellence: Empowering People for Tomorrow’s Growth. We are building a dynamic, skills-based and inclusive workforce that strengthens business performance, customer outcomes and long-term growth.

We are looking for an accomplished HR Business Partner Lead to help turn this ambition into action.

This is a high-impact strategic leadership role for an experienced HRBP who wants to influence decisions beyond the HR agenda. You will partner senior business leaders to shape workforce strategy, organisation effectiveness, leadership capability and culture across a complex business portfolio.

What you will do

  • Translate business strategy into integrated people plans that strengthen productivity, capability, workforce agility and sustainable performance.
  • Lead strategic workforce planning, including critical-role assessment, workforce segmentation, talent mobility, succession and future-skills development.
  • Advise leaders on organisation design, spans and layers, operating-model changes, restructures and productivity initiatives.
  • Shape skills-based talent strategies that build critical capabilities, accelerate internal mobility and enable targeted hiring.
  • Use workforce data and business insight to anticipate people risks, influence leadership decisions and measure the impact of people interventions.
  • Lead the people workstream for major transformation, ensuring change is well governed, clearly communicated and embedded sustainably.
  • Build a thriving workplace by strengthening leadership effectiveness, performance culture, inclusion, engagement and employee wellbeing.
  • Lead, coach and develop HRBPs to become commercially astute, credible and trusted strategic advisers.
  • Partner with HR Centres of Excellence, HR Talent & Culture, HR Operations, Risk, Legal and Employee Relations to deliver consistent, high-quality people solutions.

What you will bring

  • At least 15 years of progressive HR experience, with substantial HR Business Partnering leadership in a large, complex and preferably regulated organisation.
  • A strong track record of partnering senior leaders on workforce strategy, organisation design, transformation and leadership decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience in workforce planning, succession, talent strategy, internal mobility and organisational effectiveness.
  • Proven ability to lead complex change, balance commercial priorities with people and governance risks, and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Experience leading and developing HRBPs or a senior people-partnering team.
  • Strong commercial acumen, executive presence and the confidence to challenge constructively.
  • A genuine belief that a purposeful, dynamic and inclusive workplace is a source of business advantage.

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Experience with Workday or a comparable cloud-based HCM platform.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Psychology or a related discipline.
  • Postgraduate qualification and/or professional HR certification such as CIPD, SHRM or SPHR will be an advantage.
  • Experience in banking, financial services, insurance, telco, technology or similarly complex organisations will be an advantage.

If you are a proven strategic HRBP ready to influence enterprise decisions, lead meaningful transformation and build the workforce and leadership capability that will define RHB’s future, we invite you to make your impact with us.
