We're looking for a Junior Full Stack Engineer to join our team full-time, on-site in WP. Kuala Lumpur. This is a great fit for someone early in their career who wants hands-on experience across the full stack, working directly with senior engineers rather than being one of many juniors lost in a large team.

You'll help build and maintain real client-facing web applications — implementing UI components, building out API endpoints, and working with databases — under the guidance of our technical lead. You'll get exposure to the full project lifecycle: requirements discussions, code reviews, sprint planning, and eventually troubleshooting production issues. We expect you to ask questions, and we'll invest time in helping you grow into a confident full-stack developer.

Day to day, you'll:

• Build front-end features using React/Next.js under guidance from senior devs
• Implement back-end endpoints and business logic (Node.js/NestJS)
• Work with PostgreSQL for basic queries, schema changes, and data integration
• Write clean, readable code and learn to give/receive feedback in code reviews
• Debug issues with support from the team, and document what you learn
• Gradually take on more ownership as you build confidence

• Some hands-on experience with full-stack web development — through internships, personal projects, freelance work, or coursework (professional experience is a plus, not a requirement)
• Basic understanding of front-end development with a modern JS framework (React, Vue, or similar)
• Basic understanding of back-end concepts — APIs, server-side logic, working with a database
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for layout and styling
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows (comfortable with basic commands; branching workflows can be taught)
• A genuine interest in learning — you'll be expected to grow quickly, and we'll support that
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent self-taught/practical experience
• Able to work on-site in WP. Kuala Lumpur and communicate clearly with the team

Nice to have (not required):

• Any exposure to AI integrations, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), or CI/CD — we're happy to teach this on the job

• You'll be working directly with our founders and technical lead on real client projects from day one — not stuck on internal tooling or shadow work. It's a small team, so your contributions matter and are visible, and you'll get mentorship that's hard to find at a larger shop.
