Job Description
We are looking for a Platform Operations Engineer to manage and support key cybersecurity platforms in a highly secure enterprise environment. The role involves platform administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, security monitoring, incident response and compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Palo Alto Firewalls, including configuration, patching, firmware upgrades, firewall rules and log reviews.
Support Carbon Black EDR, including endpoint monitoring, troubleshooting, patching and onboarding.
Administer Cloudflare DMS/WAF, including security rules, IP whitelisting/blacklisting, SSL certificates and website onboarding/offboarding.
Support CyberArk PAM, including privileged account management, access reviews and password management.
Monitor platform health and investigate security and technical issues.
Support cybersecurity incident investigation and resolution.
Perform vulnerability management, patching and change management.
Maintain backups, SOPs, asset records, troubleshooting guides and security documentation.
Prepare maintenance, incident and security reports.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Networking or related field.
Experience in Platform Operations, Network Security, Cybersecurity or IT Operations.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, NAT, DNS and network troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewall or equivalent.
Experience with Carbon Black EDR or equivalent EDR platform.
Experience with Cloudflare DMS/WAF or equivalent.
Experience with CyberArk PAM or equivalent PAM solution.
Knowledge of patch management, vulnerability management, incident response and change management.
Good troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Certifications
CCNA or equivalent networking certification.
Palo Alto Networks certification.
CyberArk PAM certification.
Cloudflare WAF/DDoS certification or training.
