Job description:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our Internal Finance team. This internship provides hands-on exposure to accounting/finance operations and offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in a professional working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with data entry and maintenance of accounting records.
• Support the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Assist in preparing bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Organise, file, and maintain financial documents and supporting records.
• Assist in preparing journal entries and updating accounting schedules.
• Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Assist with audit, tax, and statutory documentation as required.
• Perform administrative duties related to the Accounting function.
• Undertake any other ad hoc tasks assigned by the Accounting team.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail with good analytical and numerical skills.
• Willing to learn and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling financial information.
