Job Purpose

The Data Analytics Reporting Intern will support the Shared Services team in collecting, validating, analyzing, and reporting operational and business data to support informed decision making. The role focuses on assisting with data preparation, report generation, dashboard maintenance, data quality checks, and performance tracking under the guidance of senior team members. This internship provides hands-on exposure to data analytics, reporting processes, business performance measurement, and visualization tools within a global shared services environment

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Support data analytics and reporting initiatives through assigned projects and daily activities.

• Assist in collecting, organizing, validating, and maintaining data from various business systems and sources.

• Prepare recurring operational, productivity, and management reports using approved enterprise tools such as Power BI, VINE (Microsoft Dynamics), and Microsoft Excel.

• Support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of dashboards and reporting solutions.

• Perform data quality reviews and ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of reporting data.

• Assist in analyzing trends, patterns, and business performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities.

• Support ad hoc reporting requests and data analysis assignments from internal stakeholders.

• Document reporting processes, report specifications, dashboard definitions, and user guides using established templates.

• Participate in learning and development activities to build knowledge in data analytics, reporting, visualization, and business performance measurement.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of data analysis, reporting concepts, and business metrics is an advantage.

• Exposure to Microsoft Power BI, Excel, SQL, Power Query, or related analytics and visualization tools is a plus.

• Familiarity with data visualization principles and dashboard development is desirable.

• Able to work with data accurately and maintain attention to detail.

• Comfortable working in a team environment with guidance and supervision.

• Demonstrates analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, effective communication, time management, and a strong willingness to learn.
