Job Description
- Lead the preparation and submission of quarterly and annual financial reports in compliance with Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements.
- Manage the Group's financial reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of management accounts and statutory financial statements.
- Oversee the consolidation of financial results across subsidiaries, including intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), Companies Act 2016, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and manage external audits, including year-end statutory audits and the preparation of audit schedules.
- Review accounting treatment for significant transactions and provide guidance on technical accounting matters.
- Monitor and strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and reporting processes to ensure governance and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with business units and senior management to provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors, tax consultants, company secretaries, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance team while driving continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and forecasting techniques.
- Experience in the manufacturing sector is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Monthly salary ranging from MYR 12000 to MYR 14000.
