Responsibilities

Our client is part of a renowned professional business services group headquartered in Singapore with established operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and China. They provide business outsourcing services strictly only to their clients in Singapore.


Key Responsibilities

You will perform and manage audit engagements for Singapore clients in accordance with the International / Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and Singapore Standards of Auditing under the mentorship of and guidance from the Partner, Directors & Managers based in Singapore & Malaysia. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver quality auditing services for each projects assigned;
  • Implement approved action plan to ensure completion of audit report;
  • Work closely with team members to execute the audit plan, documented the audit in compliance with the professional accounting and auditing standards;
  • Ensure timely completion of the audit engagement;
  • Conduct full range of audit procedures including operational, financial and management reviews;
  • Provide sound recommendation of management actions based on insightful analysis and understanding;
  • Conduct data analytics by using applicable tools and techniques to achieve audit objectives and generate actionable insights;
  • Ensure compliance in accordance with the firm’s policy and procedures and uphold highest professional standards; and
  • Provide guidance to the team as and when necessary.


Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accountancy or currently pursuing professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, ICAEW, MICPA, CPA Australia);
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in the related field;
  • Keen/strong technical ability, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Proficient in written and spoken English;
  • Possess excellent communication, report writing and computer skills;
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills; and
  • Ability to work independently and stay proactive and thrives in fast-paced environment.
