Job Summary
Lead and coordinate mechanical operations to ensure timely completion of customer orders while maintaining quality standards and safety compliance in a workshop environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections of raw materials to verify stock sufficiency and availability
Perform routine maintenance and checks on workshop tools and equipment to ensure proper working condition
Respond promptly to equipment defects to maintain uninterrupted facility functionality
Implement daily housekeeping practices to maintain a clean and organized workspace
Lead the mechanical team to complete customer orders within project timelines while meeting quality standards
Develop and maintain detailed work schedules, manpower allocation, and resource plans to optimize operational efficiency
Coordinate with external vendors to secure timely delivery of supplies
Manage and liaise with external contractors to ensure timely and quality service delivery
Enforce workplace safety compliance to uphold a safe working environment
Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Managing Director
Required competencies and certifications
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 3 years of relevant mechanical engineering experiences
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Six-day work availability
Willing to work under noisy and warm environment
