Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise production operators in daily operations.
Train, coach, and support team members to improve performance.
Ensure production targets and delivery schedules are met.
Allocate manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently.
Monitor production and welding activities to maintain quality standards.
Track daily production output, downtime, and scrap rates.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and bottlenecks.
Drive continuous improvement to increase productivity and reduce waste.
Ensure compliance with safety rules, PPE requirements, and company policies.
Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
Requirements
NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Experience in a supervisory or team leadership role in a manufacturing or production environment.
Experience managing and leading production teams such as operator and technician.
Good understanding of production processes and quality requirements.
Able to identify and solve production issues effectively.
Able to make decisions and work well under pressure.
Knowledge of GTAW (TIG Welding) processes is an advantage.
Good communication, leadership, and team management skills.
