Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical and solar PV systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and solar PV installations.
- Carry out electrical wiring, cable installation, panel assembly, inverter installation, and related electrical works in accordance with technical drawings and project specifications.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and solar PV system faults and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure all work is completed in compliance with project requirements, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Prepare maintenance reports, inspection records, and daily work progress updates.
- Operate and maintain electrical testing instruments, tools, and equipment properly.
- Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and project teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within quality standards.
- Comply with all company policies, safety procedures, and relevant industry regulations.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or management.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and solar PV installations.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs).
- Willing to travel and work at project sites across the Sabah region when required.
- Possession of a valid driving licence is an added advantage.
Requirements
Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
