Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (Main Contractor)
Role Overview:
Responsible for cost management and contract administration of main contracting construction projects, covering the full commercial lifecycle from tender estimation to project final account. This role ensures project costs are kept within budget and handles all commercial matters relating to progress claims, variations, and subcontract agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
Tendering & Estimation:
Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications, prepare cost estimates, and assist in compiling tender submissions.
Cost Control & Reporting:
Monitor project expenditure, prepare monthly cost reports, analyze cost variances, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Progress Claims & Variations:
Prepare and submit monthly progress claims, assess and quantify variation orders, and negotiate with clients and consultants.
Subcontracting & Procurement:
Obtain quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, conduct price comparisons and negotiations, and issue letters of award or work orders.
Contract Administration:
Manage contract documents, ensure compliance with contract terms, handle claims, and assist in finalizing project accounts.
Requirement
:
Prefer with experience with main contractors
Minimum 2 years of experience
5.5 days alternate Sat
