Business Analyst – ERP Implementation

Reporting To: Lead Business Analyst / Project Manager

Role Summary

We are looking for a Business Analyst to support an ERP implementation project. The role involves working closely with business users and the technical team to understand operational processes, gather requirements, document workflows, support solution design, and coordinate testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct requirement gathering sessions with business users.
• Document As-Is and To-Be business processes.
• Prepare Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, user stories and process flows.
• Analyse workflows involving procurement, finance, project operations, vendor management and approvals.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements for developers and functional consultants.
• Review system prototypes and validate them against agreed requirements.
• Prepare test scenarios, test cases and support functional testing.
• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Track requirements, issues, defects, decisions and change requests.
• Work closely with the Lead BA, Project Manager, Solution Architect and development team.
• Assist with data migration, integration and reporting requirements where required.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in IT, Information Systems, Business, Accounting or related field.
• Experience as a Business Analyst, ERP Functional Consultant or similar role.
• Strong business process analysis and documentation skills.
• Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with both business users and technical teams.
• Experience with ERP, Odoo, procurement, finance, project management, logistics or oil & gas operations is an advantage.

Preferred Candidate

Someone who is structured, proactive and comfortable asking detailed questions, challenging unclear requirements and translating business processes into practical system requirements.
