About the Role

Our Malaysia Tech Center is advancing cross-border payments, SME digitalisation, and next-generation financial infrastructure, supporting global businesses and products such as WorldFirst, Alipay+, Antom, and Bettr.


In this role, you would:

  • Design and implement data models that support business requirements and data analytics.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Build and manage real-time data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with tech team and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide data solutions.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering and data warehousing.


You could be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or any related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data engineering, software development, data science, or other AI-focused roles.
  • Proficient in creating and maintaining end-to-end ETL pipelines while maintaining high reliability and security.
  • Familiar with at least one distributed computing engine (e.g. Hive, Spark, Flink).
  • Familiar with data warehouse concept and have production experience in modeling design.
  • Proficiency in both written and verbal English communication.
  • Experience in the design of big data architecture (e.g. data governance, data compliance) is a plus.
