Responsibilities

About the role

This role involves designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining web applications. You will be part of a team responsible for new application development and improving existing applications to meet the changing needs of the business and customers. The application is developed using .NET, Angular, and React technologies. You will be working in a Scrum/Lean Agile development environment and are expected to contribute beyond a traditional developer's role by providing creative solutions to business problems.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain web applications for the Banking Division

  • Contribute to new application development and improvements to existing applications

  • Display knowledge of technical design alternatives and their implications by contributing to development team technical design activities

  • Develop applications using .NET, Angular, and React technologies

  • Provide creative solutions to business problems in a Scrum/Lean Agile environment

About you

  • Strong experience developing and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using .NET 8 (or recent .NET versions)

  • Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles, including SOLID, Design Patterns, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Clean Architecture

  • Experience applying secure coding practices and security standards, including awareness of OWASP principles

  • Strong front-end development experience with React, including building responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible web applications using TypeScript, HTML, and CSS

  • Good understanding of RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with back-end services

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

  • Independent self-starter with minimal supervision

  • Solid team player with analytical problem-solving skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • Willing to learn, adapt, and execute in a dynamic environment
