Role Description The SAP Project Manager will lead end-to-end SAP project activities, with a focus on Plant Maintenance and related business processes, for an on-site engagement in Negri Sembilan, Malaysia. This contract role involves planning, organizing, and managing project scope, timelines, resources, and budgets, while coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into SAP solutions, overseeing configuration and testing, and driving project implementation and go-live activities. The SAP Project Manager will monitor project risks and issues, prepare status reports, facilitate workshops and meetings, and ensure that deliverables meet quality and compliance standards. The individual will also support change management, user training, and post-implementation stabilization to enable sustainable adoption of SAP solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong SAP Project Management experience, including leading full-cycle project implementation.
- Solid Analytical Skills to assess requirements, resolve issues, and optimize system performance.
- Hands-on exposure to Plant Maintenance and related Business Process design and improvement.
- Proven track record in Project Implementation, from planning and execution to go-live and support.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Experience working on-site in industrial or manufacturing environments is beneficial.
- Relevant degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or SAP are an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams and adapt to changing project priorities.
