Job Summary

You will develop and execute sourcing strategies to procure materials and equipment cost-effectively, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and collaborate across departments to enhance supply chain efficiency and support company goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve cost-effective procurement of materials and equipment
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and price competitiveness to ensure optimal supply chain performance
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements to secure favorable conditions for the organization
• Manage supplier relationships to maintain consistent performance and ensure compliance with company standards
• Analyze market trends and perform cost analysis to inform sourcing decisions and optimize expenses
• Track and report supplier performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Collaborate with finance, production, and quality assurance teams to align sourcing objectives with company goals
• Drive initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks
• Support ad-hoc assignments as directed by direct superior

Required competencies and certifications

• Proficiency in supplier relationship management and contract administration
• Knowledge of cost optimization, market research, and supply chain management principles
• Familiarity with semiconductor or electronics manufacturing processes
• Experience using ERP or procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Understanding of ISO/quality systems and compliance requirements
• Willingness to work on-site at Changi North Crescent

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in supply chain management, business administration, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations in semiconductor manufacturing industry
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills demonstrated through effective cross-functional collaboration
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities applied to sourcing and supplier management
