Role Description The Artificial Intelligence Intern will support the development and testing of AI and data-driven solutions within OJH Consulting Group’s Applied AI Solution Lab. Day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting in building and evaluating machine learning models, performing data collection, cleaning, and analysis, and contributing to prototypes that leverage AI, workflow automation, and analytics. The intern will collaborate with consultants and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical tasks, document findings, and help prepare presentations, reports, and demos for internal and client stakeholders. This internship role is on-site and based in Petaling Jaya, providing exposure to real-world enterprise projects and emerging technologies. The position is an internship role, with working hours and duration to be defined according to project and academic requirements.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software development principles.
• Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and draw actionable insights.
• Exposure to Data Science concepts such as data preprocessing, exploratory data analysis, and basic statistical methods.
• Understanding of Machine Learning techniques, model training and evaluation, and interest in applied AI and agentic AI systems.
• Programming skills in languages commonly used in AI and data science (e.g., Python, R, or similar), and familiarity with relevant libraries and tools.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Ability to work on-site in Petaling Jaya, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
• Interest in enterprise applications of AI, 5G, IoT, and workflow automation; prior project or internship experience in these areas is an advantage.
