Job Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of M&E EPC and EPCM projects, ensuring projects are completed according to contractual requirements, agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards.

• Develop comprehensive project plans covering project scope, schedules, resources, budgets, deliverables and risk management.

• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning activities throughout the project lifecycle.

• Monitor overall project progress and implement corrective actions to address delays, technical issues, resource constraints or other project challenges.

• Manage project budgets and monitor overall project costs to ensure financial targets and profitability are achieved.

• Prepare and review project cost reports, forecasts, expenditure reports and financial updates.

• Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency and implement effective cost control measures.

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams comprising engineers, contractors, subcontractors, consultants and other project stakeholders.

• Provide direction and support to project teams to ensure smooth coordination and timely project delivery.

• Maintain effective communication between project teams, clients, contractors and senior management.

• Identify potential project risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.

• Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety and environmental requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

• Manage project changes, including scope changes, variations, contractual amendments and stakeholder requirements.

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, consultants and other stakeholders.

• Manage contractual requirements and ensure project deliverables are completed in accordance with agreed terms and client expectations.

• Participate in contract negotiations, variation discussions and other commercial matters where required.

• Implement quality control procedures to ensure project deliverables meet required industry standards, specifications and client expectations.

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor project progress, workmanship, safety compliance and adherence to approved specifications.

• Prepare and present regular project progress reports covering project status, milestones, budget, risks, issues and key deliverables.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project schedules, budgets, reports, contracts and other relevant records.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant project management experience within the M&E EPC/EPCM industry.
• Proven experience managing large-scale engineering projects from planning through construction and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, including HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems, process systems and cleanroom systems.
• Good understanding of construction methodologies, engineering codes, standards and project requirements.
• Strong experience in project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, risk management and contract administration.
• Proficient in MS Project or other relevant project management and scheduling tools.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification will be an advantage.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to resolve complex project and site issues.
• Commercially aware with strong attention to project costs, timelines and contractual requirements.
• Willing to travel to project sites as and when required.
